Hi! I'm Milenka Živković, a ceramic artist born in Argentina and now based in Zagreb, Croatia. I am passionate about the materialization of ideas into tangible experiences and objects and the transformation that occurs to people when they get involved in such processes.

In my early twenties I started exploring different clays, studying glazes, and trying to find my own voice through the work. It took me a while to stop wanting to understand through the mind something that is so evident in the body when we do, create and accept the tempo of the making…

I am truly passionate about the making but further more, about what happens to people when they create. That is why I created Studio Álamo, Located in the heart of Zagreb at Jurišićeva 24, the studio welcomes beginners and experienced makers — for workshops, courses, and unique ceramic pieces.

“Handcrafting One Piece at a Time”

Working with clay is not just about creating beautiful objects;
it's a sensorial experience that nourishes the mind, body, and soul.
Through touch, texture, and technique, we can discover a newfound sense of connection to ourselves and the world that surround us.
